Why Work With Me?

Hi! if you’re reading this, you already know what the GRE Shorter Edition is.
You’ve seen the structure, you know there are three parts in Verbal:
Reading Comprehension
Text Completion
Sentence Equivalence
You don’t need another “complete GRE course.”
You just need to get the section right.
That’s where I come in.

How I Work ...

... I teach only Verbal, nothing else.
If you want clarity, accuracy, and speed in Reading Comprehension, Text Completion, and Sentence Equivalence, this is where you get it.
My entire focus is on helping you read better, think faster, and answer with precision.
We work on:
-- reading dense academic passages efficiently,
-- identifying tone, purpose, and inference,
-- mastering word relationships and logic in Text Completion,
-- eliminating close-option traps in Sentence Equivalence,
-- managing time and confidence under section-adaptive pressure.
Every session is one-on-one: built around your strengths, schedule, and target score.
No formulaic slides, no pre-recorded lectures, no templates. Just focused teaching.

You Are ...

... You’ve probably taken mocks, maybe even a full attempt, and realized Verbal is where improvement matters most.
You don’t need vague stuff: you need structure, accountability, and sharp feedback.
OR
It may so be that you have just begun your GRE journey. No problem, I can help you!
I can help you get structure and direction.
Some people come to me for complete Verbal preparation; some come few weeks before exams; and then there are some who are here for fine-tuning after booking the test date!
No matter which of the above, you are welcome!
You don’t need to have taken a mock: you just need the intent to do well and the willingness to put in consistent effort.
If that’s where you are, we’ll get along fine.

How This Works...

... We begin with a short conversation to understand your goals, your current level, and your test timeline.
From there, I create a plan that covers concept clarity, practice drills, reasoning frameworks, and review sessions.
You’ll know why each question works, how test logic functions, and what to do when you’re unsure.
It’s a sharp, structured approach designed for busy students and professionals who prefer quality over quantity.

Why Private Verbal Coaching Just Works Better...

...The shorter GRE compresses everything : fewer questions, less time, higher weight per mistake.
You can’t afford generic teaching.
In a large class, you move at the group’s pace too slow for some, too fast for others.
In private tutoring, every minute is about you.
You choose the sub-topics, the intensity, and when to stop.
You pay only for what you use.
That’s not luxury : it’s efficiency.

Getting Started ...

...Just message me.
Send me a quick note : tell me your latest mock score or where you’re stuck.
I’ll reply with exactly what kind of help makes sense and how soon we can begin.
If it’s a fit, we plan a schedule; if not, you’ll still walk away clearer about what to fix.
Even if you’re starting fresh and have never even done a mock, I’ll respond with what makes sense for your situation and what kind of plan we can build together.
No long forms, no sign-up funnel. Just a direct conversation : like this page.

About Me ...

...I’ve been teaching Verbal reasoning and analytical reading for close to two decades : in classrooms, small groups, and one-on-one sessions.
Language has always been my space.
Since school, I’ve been fascinated by words : their origins, roots, and evolution.
I understand how English borrows from Latin, Greek, French, and beyond, and how that history shapes meaning today.
That curiosity became my method.
I don’t ask students to memorize word lists : I teach them to see through vocabulary using etymology, logic, and pattern recognition.
When you learn this way, unfamiliar words stop feeling random; they start making sense.
My background blends language mastery and logical reasoning, which makes GRE Verbal training clear, structured, and deeply intuitive.
You learn to think like the test maker : not fight the test.

The Work Behind the Work

Career History & Teaching JourneyGRE Verbal is not a subject you “teach”: it is an ability you transfer.
The ability to read with precision, reason with clarity, and choose the right answer even when everything looks confusing. My journey into this work began long before the GRE existed in its current form.
Over 20 Years of Communication, Analysis & TeachingMy career started in roles that demanded advanced English comprehension, analytical thinking, and clear communication. From 2006 onward, I worked in sectors like media, consulting, real estate, and later education: industries where language, reasoning, and nuance matter every single day.
Across these years, I trained teams, built strategies, and wrote extensively. Reading critically, identifying assumptions, clarifying arguments, and communicating ideas with precision became second nature.
Those same skills now power what I teach on the GRE.Parallel Track: Formal Teaching in Verbal ReasoningWhile working full-time in corporate roles, I simultaneously taught as a visiting faculty at well-known training institutes.
From early 2010s onward, I delivered in-person classroom sessions in:
Reading ComprehensionCritical ReasoningLogical ReasoningVocabulary strategy (root-based + contextual)These were for competitive exams that require skills closely aligned with the GRE: CAT, XAT, NMAT, MHCET, CLAT, and BBA entrances. The format was rigorous, high-pressure, and deeply analytical. I taught thousands of students: many of whom later pursued master’s programs abroad. This dual track: corporate roles + academic teaching: honed a unique teaching style: deeply analytical, highly structured, and grounded in real-world reasoning.2017: Becoming a Full-Time Verbal TutorIn 2017, I shifted fully into teaching because that was the work I enjoyed most and the work students valued most.Since then, my focus has been:✔ GRE Verbal Reasoning
✔ Reading Comprehension mastery
✔ Critical Reasoning frameworks
✔ Precision elimination techniques
✔ Vocabulary optimization for busy adults
✔ Tailored coaching for high-achieving applicants
I have taught working professionals, undergraduates, engineers, finance analysts, pre-law students, and mid-career candidates across India, the U.S., Europe, and Southeast Asia. The GRE Shorter Edition aligns perfectly with my expertise:
deep reading, fast reasoning, and consistent accuracy under time pressure.
Why My Background Matters for GRE Students AbroadStudents in New York, Boston, Chicago, Toronto, Singapore, and London usually ask one question:“Will this tutor understand how I read, think, and interpret text?”The answer is yes: because my entire professional life has been built around:Advanced English usagePersuasive writing and analytical readingStrategy, logic, and structured thinkingTeaching diverse audiencesCoaching people to think clearly under pressureI’m not just someone who solved GRE questions.
I am someone who has lived in communication-heavy industries for two decades and taught verbal reasoning at a professional, classroom, and one-to-one level.
This gives my GRE students a major advantage:
You learn reasoning from someone who has used it daily for years, not just for an exam.
What You Get When You Work With MeBeyond content knowledge, students consistently tell me they gain:• Clear, repeatable thinking frameworks
• Confidence with complex reading passages
• The ability to eliminate wrong options scientifically
• A personalized strategy tailored to their strengths
• A disciplined, professional, global-standard learning experience
My approach is straightforward, analytical, and highly structured: designed for students who are serious about high scores and want a private, premium, results-focused tutor.

Why a Verbal-Focused, Full-Time Private Tutor Outperforms Any Coaching Class

GRE Verbal is not volume-based learning : it is precision-based thinking.
Large coaching classes teach “methods in bulk,” but GRE Verbal requires individual correction, reasoning calibration, and reading rewiring that cannot happen in a crowded batch.
A full-time verbal specialist gives you:
1. Personalised Reading Strategy
Your pace, your weaknesses, your comprehension habits : corrected one-to-one.
2. Deep Reasoning Correction
Subtle errors in inference, assumption, and tone are fixed only through direct, tutor-attention.
3. High-Level Passage Training
GRE RC passages need global-context reading, not shortcuts. Private tutoring builds this gradually and correctly.
4. Real-Time Elimination Logic
Most wrong answers “sound right.” A specialist trains you to see through them instantly.
5. Global-Standard Vocabulary Strategy
No word-lists. Only context, roots, and recall techniques designed for actual GRE usage.
6. Faster Progress, Higher Accuracy
No generic lectures. Every session is targeted, deliberate, and measurable.
In GRE Verbal, precision beats volume, and a dedicated specialist delivers that precision consistently.
